      Seam 2.1.1 GA
      IceFaces 1.8.0

      Description

In seam component showcase 1.8.0 progress bar doesn't work. Trouble is in server-induced rendering because it is rendered when i produce some events during test process run (checking checkboxes). No errors are in jboss log.
I've made a huge research over the internet (including IceFaces and Seam forums). I haven't found anyone who successfully does server-induced rendering having such software versions.

      Please help.

I tested seam-comp-showcase-1.8 with jboss-seam-2.1.1.GA, JDK1.5 (alsoJDK1.6) for jboss-4.2.2.GA and there is no problem with the progress bar. Can I assume that the user has added some checkboxes to the page? (or something else?). Something must be different from the original version of seam-comp-showcase (1.8 release) if they are having difficulty with this. Perhaps they have multiple ICEfaces applications on the server and don't have the push-server deployed (or correct version of push-server)? I know of at least 2 companies with this particular stack and aren't having any difficulty with ajax-push rendering. Will require more info.
