Hi,
With the current SVN rev. 17242.
Since this version, the title from my webapplication badly renders in the html <title> tag.
The code:
<head><title><ice:outputtext value="title" /></title></head>
renders:
<header><title><span class="iceOutputTxt" id="j_id7">Title</span></title></header>
instead of rendering:
[<head><title>title</title></head>
You can see the attached screen capture for more details.
The workarround I found is to use <h:output> tag.

If the issue persists with the current ICEfaces release, please create a new JIRA for it.
