non-ascii characters urlencoded by simple "GET"

    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: Framework

      Description

Problem described, as well as potential solution, on Seam forum at :-

      http://www.seamframework.org/Community/NonAsciiCharactersUrlencodedBySimpleGet

It would be nice to get a test sample app for testing of fix. Unsure how this would affect non-Seam apps with ICEfaces. The problem involves the exception handling of Seam as well as ICEfaces. Standard ICEfaces throws exception handling to JSF and does redirection in such cases via standard JSF. Seam does it's own capture and redirection in case of exceptions.

Posible solution, this patch demonstrates the double urlencoding. This solution is not clean, posibly needs rework-redesign
