RichInputText component doesn't work/rendered on other pages than the defined viewPageURL (first page of an portlet that gets called)

For some reason the component will work on the other pages too if you define the inputRichText on the viewPageURL. (See example attachment portlet). Simply define the richinput text on your viewPage and define rendered="false" |
